About Us
The House Story
Say Hey House was born from a desire to support local and cultivate community in Toronto. The purpose of our space is for people of all creative backgrounds to come, connect, and get crafty in a truly safe and supportive environment.
Founded by Cami and Michela, Say Hey House is inspired by the natural world and the symbiotic relationships found everywhere in nature, and is built upon our shared love for flora, fauna, and funga.
We are a third-space in the Junction for everyone; where you can feel at home, discover and be yourself, explore new passions and pastimes, and create.
Camille: Say Hey House Co-founder
Performing and visual arts have always been creative and emotional outlets for me. After experiencing life-altering trauma as a child, I was always on the hunt for ways to alleviate my stress and aid in my personal growth and healing. Over the years, I have encountered many art, spiritual, and nature based practices, rooted largely in Taoism, which led me to where I am today. Say Hey House is one of the ways I am able to express and share my inner world with others; a place where community, creature comforts, and art may collide.

My journey with the arts has been a winding road. I never considered myself to be natural at creating. It wasn't until I stopped trying to replicate what I thought art should be and replaced it what I wanted to do, that my passions and personality came through in what I create.
That is what I hope to cultivate with Say Hey House. A place where people feel comfortable connecting within and letting go. To open themselves up to possibility.
My professional background is in environmental science and recreation. I'm grateful to now have a place to combine the two.
